- The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is isssuing a solicitation for the purchase of Sun servers, Legato licenses, and other related equipment. The full product list is attached to this synopsis. Solicitation HC1047-04-T-4005 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This acquisition is reserved for small businesses. Also, OFFERORS MUST BE AUTHORIZED SUN RESELLERS. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 511210. The small business size standard is $21 Million. The following provisions in their latest editions apply to the solicitation: FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; 52.222-3, Convict Labor; 52.232-17, Interest; 52.233-3, Protest After Award; 52.247-34, F.O.B. Destination; 52.252-6, Authorized Deviations in Clauses, 252.204-7003; Control of Government Personnel Work Product; 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration; 252.246-7000, Material Inspection and Receiving Report; 252.232-9100, Wide Area Work Flow. All quotes will be evaluated on price, delivery and technical requirements. Please submit with your quote a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the requirements as stated in this synopsis and will be most advantageous to the Government.
