- This is a modification to the combined synopsis/solicitation posted on Nov 12, 2003. The changes to the below listed combined synopsis/solicitation are: The place of performance is corrected to read Wilkes-Barre, PA. The following additional information is provided. a) The Passport Advantage Enrollment ID Number is 112770-7380191. b) The part numbers are E2DDQLL, EooPBLL, and E2DCKLL: THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. SOLICITATION NUMBER SSA-RFQ-04-0075 IS BEING ISSUED AS A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. The NAICS Code is 511210 and the size standard is $21 million. The Social Security Administration needs to renew maintenance on Government owned Informix software and purchase compiler collection software and maintenance. The software packages are 1) ?Informix 7.X class E software assurance support?. Annual comprehensive software maintenance for Informix on-line dynamic server SN: AAC#J67123 (PTSW-22000) (88 users) Period of Performance 1/1/04 ? 12/31/04, 3) Comprehensive Software Maintenance for Informix On-Line Dynamic Server 7.X. (20 Users) SN: AAC#J473617 (PTSW-22001), Period of Performance 1/1/04 ? 6/30/04, 4) Comprehensive Software Maintenance for Informix On-Line Dynamic Server 9.X. (20 Users) SN: AAC#J473617 (PTSW-22001), Period of Performance 07/01/04 ? 12/31/04, 5) Informix 7.X Software Assurance Support Annual Comprehensive Software Maintenance for Informix On-Line Comprehensive (60 users) SN: AAC#J46240 (PTSW-22002) Period of Performance 1/1/04 ? 6/30/04, 6) Informix 7.X Software Assurance Support Annual Comprehensive Software Maintenance for Informix On-Line Comprehensive (60 users) SN: AAC#J46240 (PTSW-22002) Period of Performance 7/1/04 ? 12/31/04, and 7) Compiler Collection Software and Maintenance Period of Performance 1/1/04 ? 12/31/04, This system software is for the integrated image-based data capture system (11BDCS). The 11BDCS uses Informix Databases that interfaces with the storage and retrieval software, plexus and the Unix servers. The quote shall be ?Firm-Fixed Price.? The software is used and located at Wilkes-Barre DOC, 1150 East Mountain Blvd., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be granted equal importance in evaluating offers; 1)price; 2) Technical capability to Meet the Government?s Needs; 3) Past Performance. The clause at 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions/Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
