- Solicitation /Synopsis: This combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The Northern American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 333618, and employee standard size of 1000. The proposed contract listed is set aside for small businesses. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE: A complete Cummins Engine DR1577-RX for a Peterbuilt Tractor, Brand Name ONLY. Requires a 1-year/100,000 miles, Cummins factory warranty on all component to be submitted 15 days after receipt of order. Contractor shall give the government credit for the engine core on turn-in of the old engine if serviceable. The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with the blanks filled in as follows: Request for Quotation will be evaluated for price and compatibility with specifications. Quotes shall include pricing information to include material unit price and extended total as well as the completed provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. Delivery point is Bldg 1245, 7315 Saber Rd, F.E. Warren AFB, WY. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. No addenda apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items-applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR 52.212-5 clauses cited in the clause applicable to this acquisition are (b) (5), (14), (16-19) and (29). The following clauses are also applicable to this acquisition: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program, DFARS 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payments and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. Quotes will be received at 90 CONS/LGCB, 7505 Marne Loop, F.E. Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860 until 4:30 P.M. local time on 4 Dec 03.
