- Description
- The work consists of but is not limited to furnishing all necessary labor, tools, materials, and equipment to construct Fort Sumter Range front & rear light structures and demolition of existing range structures at U. S. Coast Guard Charleston, South Carolina, Charleston County. The front structure will be a single caisson structure that will be constructed approximately 840 feet to the Southeast of Fort Sumter National Monument in approximately 5 feet of water. Once the new structures are installed and operating the existing structures as well as two discontinued dredge range structures will be removed, with the supporting piles cut off at least 1 foot below mud line. Rear light will consists of a four-pile jacket structure with platform deck and tower approximately 3,780 feet to the Southeast of Castle Pinckney in the Middle Ground area of Charleston Harbor in approximately 12 feet of water. Once the new structures are installed and operating the existing range structures as well as the discontinued dredge range structures will be removed with the supporting piles cut off at least 1 foot below the mud line. This action is a ‘SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE”. SOLICITATION IN ITS ENTIRETY WILL BE AVAILABLE ON LINE AT: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $1,00,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 with a three-year average annual receipts of $28.5 million. Bid guarantee, payment and performance bonds are required.
