- Description
- The following is Notice of Intent for the above referenced requirement. The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate a sole source award with Colonial Parking in Washington, DC for parking at two separate locations (400 Virginia Avenue and the International Trade Commission Building (ITC) at 500 E Street, SW. The requirement is for vehicle parking spaces, parking permits including key cards and validation stickers for the two locations. Colonial Parking is the only known source capable of providing parking at the two locations. The requirements include the following: (1) For the ITC building location, security reasons dictate that the parking be at the building be underground or next door; (2) For the Virginia Avenue location the parking must be within one block of access to the front of the building or next to the building for security reasons. Other organizations possessing the abilities to provide parking and other services in the Washington, DC locations listed above are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities. This is not a request for proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the data received. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, this information will be used in SSA?s assessment of capable sources. Responses to this notice should be submitted in duplicate and in writing and refer to Parking Services. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Responses should be submitted to the address cited at the beginning of this notice or by email at patrice.coleman@ssa.gov. THE DUE DATE FOR RESPONSES IS 3:00 PM, EST, November 21, 2003. FAXED RESPONSES SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED. No telephone requests will be honored.
