- AMENDMENT: The purpose of this Amendment 02 is to change the current solicitation number, to provide an additional point of contact for this solicitation and to advise potential offerors about an upcoming site visit. The Solicitation Number is hereby changed from BEP-03-0061 to BEP-04-0007. All proposal submission should reflect the new solicitation number. The additional point of contact for questions regarding this solicitation is Ms. Kimbalynn Dieng, Phone: 202-874-3143, Fax: 202-874-2200, Email: Kimbalynn.dieng@bep.treas.gov. A site visit will be held the week of December 1, 2003 at 9:00 AM at the BEP office located 14th & C Streets, SW, Washington, DC. Interested companies must submit the full name, email address, phone, and fax number of the attendee(s) and name of the company, no later than November 24, 2003. The number of attendees shall be no greater than four per company. Information should be submitted to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Office of Procurement, Room 705A, 14th & C Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20228, Attn: Cynthia A. Beckett, Phone: 202-874-3252, Fax: 202-874-2200, Email: Cynthia.beckett@bep.treas.gov or Kimbalynn Dieng at the information contained above. All interested parties are urged to attend the site visit. A draft copy of the Statement of Work (SOW) is available for review and/or comments, which can be downloaded from www.fedbizopps.gov. In order to make the site visit as productive as possible, interested parties are urged to submit any questions or comments regarding the draft SOW, in writing, no later than November 26, 2003 so that answers may be formulated and provided with the handouts the day of the site visit. Please be advised that upon arrival for a scheduled appointment, attendees will be required to enter through the 14th Street entrance of the BEP. Due to strict security requirements, two forms of picture identification will be required for entry into the facility and please allow sufficient time to check-in through security. Interested parties are advised that the site visit will be held solely for the purpose of providing information about the BEP?s requirement and the closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the Request for Proposal. Sources responding to this announcement will be placed on the BEP?s mailing list and will receive notification once the solicitation is posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
