- FISC-San Diego, Regional Contracting Department is issuing a request for quotation (RFQ) for Commercial Services in accordance with FAR 13.5 and FAR Part 12. The following services are required: 25MM shipboard gun barrel refurbishment coating services to be accomplished in accordance with MIL-DTL-16232G. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials and delivery costs to re-furbish barrels. Delivery will be made to SIMA-SD, US Naval Station, San Diego, CA 92136. The Government is requesting a Base Year and three one year option periods. The estimated number of barrels per year is 100. All material will be inspected and accepted at destination. This procurement is issued as unrestricted. All qualified contractors that have experience performing this exact type work or similar work are encouraged to obtain a copy of the RFQ. All applicable Certificates of Confo rmance will be required to be provided upon delivery. The RFQ will be available for review and downloading on or about December 4, 2003 at the following websites: www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov The solicitation period will close on 1500 PM, PST, January 5, 2004.
