- NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a fixed price contract on a sole source basis to The Spiratex Company for Reinforced Towed Array Hose per drawing #77A12093 (QTY. 3135ft). The Government intends to issue a request for quote to The Spiratex Company, under N66604-04-Q-0729. This formal solicitation should be issued within the next week, which will include drawing #77A12093. This action is being processed as a sole source to ensure compatibility and proper hydrodynamic performance with the existing TB-29A towed array. This action is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 326199; size standard is 500 Employees. Required delivery is 2004 Jan 31, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. Any firm that believes it has the capability to meet the Government?s minimum requirements is invited to submit a quote for Government evaluation. All proposals from responsible sources will be considered. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
