Description
DEPLOYABLE SHELTERS PEO STRI is soliciting information regarding the availability of deployable hard shelters to be utilized as alternate facilities for fielded small arms laser based training devices that may be utilized in corrosive environments. REQUIREMENTS Shelter must come in two types of configurations with bathrooms (sink and toilet) and without bathrooms and meet at a minimum approximately the following dimensions: 20?W X 40? L; 40?W X 40? L, or 48?W X 60? L. All shelters must contain the following: a) Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) system (American Refrigeration Instituted (ARI) certified) that can maintain a medium temperature range of 72 degrees F with 50% relatively humidity in ambient temperatures of ?40 degrees F to 150 degrees and have corrosive protection. Design that incorporates ventilation for (20?W X 40? L ? 10 personnel, 40? W X 40? L ? 25 personnel, 48?W X 60? L ? 60 personnel). b) Electrical 220/120 compatible; unit shall be designed for 60 htz, convertible to 50 htz, power; c) No windows are required (If shelters have windows then darkening covers are required); d) Minimum of two standard size doorways (min. 32?); e) Minimum of 8? ceiling; f) All electrical shall be UL certified - Minimum of ten (10) electrical outlets; overhead lighting that has dimmer capability; g) Fire extinguishers, fire alarms; exit signs at all doorways; h) Hook up for generator capability (min..15 kw, military compatible); i) Ability to be deployed on a prepared hard surface or ground; j) Roof (must be able to withstand 10 lbs. per sq. foot). k) All deployable shelters must be easily transportable by C5/C17 or ocean vessel. l) Set-up and tear-down of the shelters shall not exceed 8 hours with a four (4) man crew. m) Shelters shall be weather resistant (corrosive and rust resistant) n) Set-up and tear down instructions INFORMATION REQUESTED The following information is required: 1. Description of shelters currently available and how each of the above requirements are met. 2. Lead time for manufacture of shelters and production capacity and capability 3. Supportability of HVAC and manufacturer 4. Warranty & corrosion protection coating data 5. Listing of special tools required for set-up and tear down 6. Price range for each configuration 7. Place of manufacture of shelters 8. POC of customers that are currently using the deployable shelters 9. If your company?s shelters do not currently meet the above requirements, lead time required to have compliant deployable shelters and modifications required. 10. Past Performance ?
