- Description
- The Acquisition Management Department, National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) Bethesda, Maryland on behalf of the Ophthalmology Department, intends to award a Sole-Source order to VISX, Inc. For #0030-3551-07 KEY CARDS. These cards are required to turn on the Laser to perform PRK and LASIK surgery. Each card does 10 eyes. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement bases on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made used Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). See Note 22.
