- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, EROS Data Center, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has a requirement for operation and maintenance services in support of the EROS Data Center located near Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Service are for the buildings and grounds which is approximately 318 acres and includes three major buildings, support buildings, waste water system, ponds and pipeline. The services being provided would include all electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and maintenance and minor modifications. The contractor will ensure all building systems are operating at energy conservation levels and considers an alternative energy source when necessary. The contractor will provide installation, operation and maintenance for all telephone, networking and communications cabling. The waste water system operation and grounds maintenance include biological management and monitoring will be part of the contract, as well as maintenance of facility vehicles and other types of equipment/machinery. This is a follow-on contract, with an anticipated 5 month base year, and four (4) one-year renewal option periods. This procurement is set-aside for small business under NAICS 561210 (13) with a size standard of $23,000,000. It is anticipated that the solicitation will become available on or about December 30, 2003, and will only be available electronically at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. There will be a site visit and will be announced at a later date. No additional information is available at this time.
