- Description
- (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in sub-part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation FA4877-04-Q-0100 is being issued as a request for quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as a Small Business Set-aside under Standard Industrial Classification code 3489 and North American Industry Classification System Code (NIACS) 332995, size standard 500 employees. (V) Line Item 1: One Lot Prototype Clamping Devices, 1 lot; Line Item 2: GAU8/A gun stands PN 160D197851, 3 EA; Line Item 3: Ammo Drum Frame PN 160D297858, 3 EA; Line Item 4: Gun Drive and Gear Box PN 160D197265, 3 EA. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, services, and manufacturing to provide a complete and usable end product. No alterations, additions, or deletions shall be made unless by prior written approval of the Contracting Officer. All work must meet or exceed acceptable industry standards and codes for the building trades. (VII) Place of delivery: Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707. FOB POINT IS DESTINATION. (VIII) Provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerers- Commercial Items applies. (X) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with its offer. (XI) Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XII) Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Require to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to the award document. (XVI) A site visit will be held on 21 November 2003 at 1230. Meet at the Swan gate visitor's center at 1230. In order to get your vehicle on base you need: driver's license, insurance & registration. Quotations due date to the 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S. Craycroft Rd. Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707, has been extended to 1 December 2003, 4 p.m. local time.
