- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Safe Flight 21 Program (AND-510), Washington, DC intends to award a sole source contract to Raytheon Command, Control, Communication, and Information Systems for continuation of NASA research and development of a Surface Management System (SMS). The purpose of this contract is to continue development of requirements and specifications for a future production system to be acquired through a full and open procurement beginning in 2005. The contract will also include continued operations/maintenance of the current prototype SMS installations at Memphis, TN and Louisville, KY until replaced by production systems.
