- The Federal Bureau of Prisons , U.S. Penitentiary in Marion, IL, intends to make a single award for the provision of a Clinical Technician for the Inmate Population at the Federal Prison Camp, Marion, Illinois. The services will be performed on individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements type contract. The contract period shall consist of a 10 month period. The estimated quantities for this contract is1200 one hour sessions for the Clinical Technician. The number of hours per week will not exceed thirty (30) hours. The proposed contract will be set aside 100% for small business. The solicitation will be available on or about November 21, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interest parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about December 5, 2003. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 561990, with a small business size standard of $6.0 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
