Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM), PMA201 has a requirement for Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) and Hornet Autonomous Real Time (HART) Program support. The Government requires the contractor to conduct independent technical assessments and analysis in support of the JDAM program. The contractor shall: (1) provide test ant evaluation planning, resource assessment, data collection, and data analysis support; (2) provide inputs for management conferences, production readiness reviews, and site surveys; (3) revise and update management information related to program responsibilities and recommendations for development and maintenance of management information systems; (4) participate in the preparation and review of specifications, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirements Lists for follow-on production contracts; (5) assess known and potential operational capability deficiencies; (6) provide management and technical support for JDAM development and upgrades related to aircraft integration on the F/A-18 and other aircraft platforms; (7) provide technical advice, conduct studies, analyze options, and prepare reports and briefings on implementing the latest initiatives and techniques for the JDAM RDT&E program; (8) conduct analysis of PGK requirements and candidate technologies and hardware to satisfy the requirement; (9) work as a member of the JDAM team at Eglin AFB, FL, for the JDAM MK 82/MK 83/MK 84, BLU-109 and PGK systems; (10) work as a member of the PMA-201 JDAM team to collect metrics on program progress and provide recommendations in the Program Technical Report to mitigate risk to program costs/budgets and assist with the achievement of program goals. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract under General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) order against Service Identification Number (SIN) 871-4 will be awarded. The anticipated period of performance is date of ward through 12 months. The RFQ, including the SOW, quotation instructions, and selection criteria will be posted to http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/ by 17 November 2003. All proposals received on or before 1:00 p.m., 21 November 2003 will be considered by the Government.
