Description
NA The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, ITEC-4, proposes award of a purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures on the basis of full and open competition for the procurement of Motorola radios and incidental equipment in support of the Coalition Prov isional Authority in Iraq. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only so licitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91QUZ-04-T-0001 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are tho se in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-17. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED in accordance with FAR 19. NAICS code for this requirement is 517212. The small business size standard for this requirement is 1500. The contractor shall provi de the following: 6 ea. Motorola GP340 radios with Ultra-High Capacity battery, narrowband, 16 channel, VHF (136-174 MHz), & 5W output; 1 ea 6-unit battery charger (240V) compatible with GP340 Motorola radios; 6 ea Spare Ultra-High Capacity batteries comp atible with GP340 Motorola radios; 12 ea Ear-piece sets for Motorola GP340 radios; 60 ea HT750 Motorola radios with NiMH Ultra-High Capacity battery, narrowband, 16 channel, VHF (136-174 MHz), 5W output; 10 ea 6-unit battery chargers (240V) compatible with HT750 Motorola radios; and, 60 ea Spare NiMH Ultra-High Capacity batteries for the HT750 Motorola radios. Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations, including delivery and warranty. Discussions may or may not be held with the offeror. According ly, each offeror's initial quote should be complete and accurate. Delivery is required FOB Destination at The Presidential Palace, Baghdad, Iraq. The required delivery date is 15 December 2003. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor and transpor tation necessary to deliver the items. Offerors must provide warranty information specific to all equipment. The following provisions and clauses can be viewed at http://www.arnet.gov.
