- Description
- The VA National Acquisition Center will issue RFP 797-NC-03-0040 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), Indian Health Service (IHS) and Bureau of Prison (BOP) requirements for Tramadol HCl tablets. Tramadol HCl tablets has an estimated annual usage of 55,626 bottles in bottles of 100 each and 75,273 bottles in bottles of 500 OR 37,631 bottles in bottles of 1000. NOTE: Where there is a choice of package size as indicated by the word ?OR?, the offeror must submit a price on at least one of the two sizes indicated. Award will be made on the package size most advantageous to the Government. The estimated quantities listed above are for VA, DoD, IHS, and BOP. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DoD Pharmaceutical Prime Vendors (PPV). Tablets must be compatible with automatic dispensing units (Baxter ATC Canisters, Optifil, etc.) and if the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. Glass bottles are not acceptable. The solicitation will be available for downloading, on or about the issue date of December 1, 2003 from the VA Office of Acquisition and Material Management?s (O&AMM) internet web site @ http://www.va.gov/o&amm/busopp/sols.htm.
