- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 22 Network Business Center has a requirement for Pharmacy RX Services for providing first time or emergency medications to Veteran Beneficiaries for the following VA San Diego Healthcare System Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs): Chula Vista CBOC, 835 Third Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91911; Escondido CBOC, 815 Pennsylvania Ave, Escondido, CA 92025; Imperial Valley (El Centro) CBOC, 528 G St, Brawley, CA 92227; and Vista CBOC, 1840 West Dr, Vista, CA 92083. The requirement is for a local (one pharmacy to each site) public pharmacy to fill and dispense medication as required by the VA San Diego Healthcare System Pharmacy Service. Prescriptions shall be filled and dispensed at pricing consistent with Medi-Care/Medi-Cal rates. It is the intent of the Government to award multiple contracts, one for each CBOC. Awards shall be made to the responsible offerors based on location. The contract effective period shall be for a base period of one (1) year, 1/1/04 through 12/31/04 with two (2) one-year optional renewal periods. The solicitation will be issued on or about 12/1/03, with offers due by 12/19/03.
