This sentence has been removed from the text below: The contractor will be required to ship directly to American Embassy in Belize City, Belize by commerical air freight. ----------------------------------------------------------- This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared per the format in Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested from interested parties for the procurement of the following equipment: 100 each Motorola GP344 Model MDH38KKDC9AN3 (VHF, 16 Channel) Portable Hand-Held Radios, 6 each Motorola MDHTN3004 230 VAC Multi-Unit Chargers and 185 each Motorola JMNN4024-R Lithium Ion High Capacity Radio Batteries. The following Provisions and Clauses are incorporated into this RFQ by reference and are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. No addenda apply to these Provisions and Clauses. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-5, Contract Terms and conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; FAR 52.246-15, (APR 1984), Certificate of Conformance. No additional FAR clauses apply. Packaging (Not exceed State Department shipping maximum sizes), packing, and preservation shall be in accordance with best commercial practices to enable shipment from CONUS to final destination without repacking or incurring damage during shipment and handling.
