- THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. THE NAICS CODE IS 541690 AND THE SIZE STANDARD IS 6M. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for gas phase retention data compilation to incorporate into the NIST database. It will call for the identification, copying and processing of available gas phase retention index data that has appeared in the literature and other open sources during the calendar year 2003 along with papers from earlier years that are identified during the collection effort. The period of performance will be six months from the date of award. Details will be provided in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about November 19, 2003 on www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation, any amendments and questions and answers will also be posted to Fedbizopps at the above address and are totally the responsibility of the offeror. FAR Part 13 will apply to this requirement. No hardcopies of the solicitation will be available. All responsible small companies may submit a quote, which will be considered by the agency.
