Description

This is an amendment to the Pre-Solicitation Notice for the USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) requirement to acquire construction services for our facility at Gulfport, Mississippi for the installation of a new fire alarm system in several buildings (approximately eight (8)) at that location. This amendment changes the solicitation release date to read on or about December 5, 2003 (proposals will be due thirty (30) days after release of the solicitation). This change to the release of the solicitation (request for proposals), changes the due date for receipt of proposals to read January 5, 2004 (2:30 p.m. local time). All other portions of the pre-solicitation notice remain unchanged. This is a full and open procurement which is to be awarded as a fixed price contract. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation, #APHIS-04-004, is to be affixed to all documents submitted in reference to this requirement. The solicitation (with attachments, such as drawings/specifications) will be available electronically at the following Internet website: www.FedBizOpps.gov. Any changes to the pre-solicitation notice or solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website (www.FedBizOpps.gov). Potential offerors must submit a street mailing address and an email address, if questions/comments are submitted. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Proposals will be due no later than 2:30 p.m. local time on January 5, 2004.
