- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi, 8930 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas. The project location is Hangar 41. Work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials and transportation to rezone the Hangar 41 HVAC system by adding two new air handlers to the hangar north side and two new air handlers to the south side. Also included is hung ceiling modifications and ductwork demolition and replacement. The north side chilled water system, including the existing 100 ton chiller CH-1, is retained, while the crossover piping to the south side and all south side chilled water piping is removed. A new 60 ton chiller (CH-2), a chilled water pumping station, system chilled water supply and return headers, and associated coil branch lines shall be installed to service the hangars? south side. Roof penetrations, some wall boards, and a small amount of drain line insulation removal constitutes the projects asbestos work. The estimated price range of the complete project is between $250,000 - $500,000. Performance time is 180 calendar days.This project is being considered for 100 percent HUBZone set-aside. Interested HUBZone businesses should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer in writing as early as possible and should be received no later than 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: (a) a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, (b) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact and telephone numbers, and (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. Information should be faxed to 305/278-6696. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning, with a size standard of $12.0 million.
