- Description
- Description The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Intends to negotiate a non?competitive contract with Marriott River-Center 101 Bowie Street San Antonio, Texas 78205. For Hotel Accommodations, Conference Space, and Hotel Services. The Period of Performance for this requirement is December 04, 2003 through December 12, 2003, approximately 1,074 rooms? nights, are required as well as meeting space and audio visual equipment rental). The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is sponsoring a Leadership conference. The hotel is accommodating sleeping rooms and providing lodging rates within the stated Government Per Diem. Payments shall be the sole responsibility of each attendee. General Session Meeting Room for December 9, 10, 11, from 8:00 to 5:00 PM to accommodate 330 attendees in round seating (66 ?rounds of 10). 7 Break-Out Meeting room (to accommodate 35 people) are needed for the period December 9, 10, and 2003. Audio Visual Equipment Rental list can be made available by fax. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Services are being solicited and Awarded as a commercial item in accordance with FAR 13.5. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. Written response to this synopsis should be received within 5 days of this announcement, and should include sufficient documentation to establish capability to fulfill the requirement.
