- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase Extended Range Guided Munitions (ERGM) ram brakes, 75 each. Drawings may be obtained by contacting XDS11AorB at (540)653-7478 or email XDS11@nswc.navy.mil. The North American Industry Classification System code is 332710, 500 employees size standard. This requirement is 100 percent set-aside for small business and FAR 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (JUL 1996) is applicable. The contract shall be a firm fixed priced contract. FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00178-04-Q-1001 and is a Request for Quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circu lar 2001-17. All interested parties shall contact the contract specialist at (540)653-7478 or XDS11@nswc.navy.mil and indicate their interest and capability to receive a list of the equipment. This procurement is DO priority rated. Quote is due 19 November 2003 no later than 2:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Building 183, First Floor, Room 102, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 and anticipated award by 20 November 2003. Delivery of the 75 Sets of ERGM Ram Brakes are due by 20 December 2003. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition arena; therefore, this synopsis/solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY/. Vendors shou ld regularly access the NSWCDD web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Quoters may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment offices may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor's EFT information contained in the CCR database.
