- This is Amendment 0001 for a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items that was originally issued on 4 November 2003 and is hereby amended as follows: A) FAR Clauses 52-219-6, Notice of Small Business Set-Aside and 52.247-48, FOB Destination ? Evidence of Shipment are hereby incorporated by reference. B) Additionally Crane Clause CNIN-E-5607 INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE (ORIGIN) (5607) (a) Government inspection and acceptance of the supplies or services to be furnished hereunder shall be performed by an authorized Government Representative at the contractor's or subcontractor's plant located at [Fill In}. The location designated for such inspection and acceptance shall not be changed without prior written authorization of the Contracting Officer. (b) The cognizant inspector shall be notified when supplies or services are ready for government inspection. ( c) Advance notification of the cognizant inspector X is is not required at least 7 days prior to conducting contractor inspections and/or testing. C) Additional Drawings are included: 53711-5166628-K (Plug, Humidity Indicator), 53711-6213794-B (Observation Window), 53711-6213873-C (Latch, Cres), 53711-6213692-B (Gasket), 53711-6213910-B (Spring, Torsion), 53711-6214106-A (Ring, Container Lift), 53711-6213177-B (Base Extrusion), 30003-3454AS104-E (Cover Extrusion B1), and 30003-3552AS151 (Pin, Shackle). D) The closing date for this synopsis/solicitation is hereby changed from 11/19/2003 to 11/26/2003. E) All other terms and conditions in the solicitation remain the same.
