- Description
- Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to install a forced hot water heating system, semi-instantaneous steam/water heat exchanger, circulating pump, baseboard radiation convectors, surface mounted convectors, kickspace heaters, heating controls, thermostats, piping and miscellaneous associated work at the Chapel (Building 203) located at the U.S. Coast Guard facility, Ft. Wadsworth, Staten Island, NY. The work also includes the installation of new vent piping at the neaby USCG Station New York Administration Building located off Bay Street in the Rosebank section of Staten Island, NY. This Invitation for Bids is 100% small business set-aside for which the applicable small business size standard is $12 million average annual receipts for the three previous fiscal years. This project is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance and Payment Bonds or alternative payment protections are required. The applicable NAICS Code is 238220. The tentative bid opening date is 15 January 2004 Bid packages will be available on or about 4 December 2003 at a non-refundable charge of $47. Certified Checks or money orders should be made payable to Commercial Blue Print and Supply Inc. and mailed to the firm at: 83 Waverly Street, Jersey City, NJ 07306. Do not send fees to the Coast Guard. All relevant solicitation documents including specifications and drawings may also be accessed for download for free commencing on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.eps.gov. Any amendments issued under this solicitation shall also be posted on this website. Also, you may refer to a list of other printers on the U.S. Coast Guard CEU/PROVIDENCE website at http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/ceuprovidence. Printers on this list may be able to download and print the solicitation and drawings and specifications for a fee. All responsible sources are invited to submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Coast Guard.
