- Description
- Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) Services: Furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) repair, calibration and certification services to include an inventory of approximately 4,500 items, Monday – Friday, 0700-1600 hours. This is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Replies to this notice are solicited from small business concerns only. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 541380; the Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8734. The size standard in annual income is $6,000,000.0 0. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract with one (1) basic period plus four (4) one year option. This is a competitive best value source selection in which competing offerors’ past and present performance history will be evaluated on a basis approximately equal to cost or price considerations. By submission of its offer in accordance with the instructions provided in the RFP, the offerors accedes to the terms of this model contract and all such offers shall be treated equally except for their price and performance records. The Government reserves the right to evaluate and give evaluation credit for proposed features that exceed either the stated thresholds or objectives. The lowest price may not necessarily receive the award. The solicitation package will be issued on or about 5 Sep 03, on Federal Business Opportunities website at www.eps.gov. All dates are estimated. No paper copies will be issued and no telephonic request for solicitation sets will be accepted. Firms desiring to receive a copy of this solicitation should go to the website at www.eps.gov. Only firms that are eligible may compete for award. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.dlsr.dla.mil or http://ccr.edi.dis.mil in order to receive consideration for award of any resulting contract award.
