H92222-04-R-0001 Market Research Synopsis FSC - 10 NAICS- 332994 Anticipated Issue Date: 4 November 2003 Anticipated Closing Date: 18 November 2003 Currently, the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has an approved requirement to procure a quantity of 5.56MM (SCAR L) and 7.62MM (SCAR H) assault rifles as part of the SCAR program. As part of the Market Research for this item the government is seeking industry comments on the revised draft specifications. The draft specifications are attached to this announcement and are entitled "Draft Performance Specification, SOF Combat Assault Rifle Light, 30 October 2003 & SOF Combat Assault Rifle Heavy, 30 October 2003.? Please provide to Mr. John Pfender written industry comments by no later than 12:00PM (Noon) on Wednesday, 12 November 2003. Although facsimile replies will be accepted, the preferred method of reply is via e-mail.
