- Description
- FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Hilton Alexandria Mark Center of Alexandria, VA for lodging and conferencing facilities in support of the Annual Joint Service Graduate Medical Education Selection Board Conference. Lodging for approximately 888 funded room nights and conferencing facilities are required from 29 November 2003 through 6 December 2003. This sole source acquisition is being conducted in accordance with Commercial Items procedures as set forth at FAR Part 12 and is being processed through other than full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authority as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. The applicable NAICS code is 721110.
