- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) order to Martin-Baker Aircraft Company, Limited under sole-source BOA N00019-02-G-3046 for engineering, technical and logistical support in the performance of six ejection sled tests as part of a comparative test program to evaluate the affects of restraint systems on the Navy Aircrew Common Ejection Seat (NACES) performance. Testing will be accomplished using the NACES SJU-17(v) 3/A and 4/A series of ejection seats. Martin-Baker Aircraft Company, Limited is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of NACES and the only known source with the required technical expertise and data to meet the Government?s needs.
