- DESIGN/BUILD RENOVATION OF AMCC BUILDING T-715 AT LAJES FIELD, AZORES, PORTUGAL. Work includes but is not limited to the following: One step turnkey design and construction of the renovation of AMCC building T-715 (approximately 2,900 square feet) to include design package submissions at the 35%, 65%, and 100% submittal stages; Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), automatic temperature controls, electrical system upgrade, interior electrical distribution, architectural repair and finishes, suspended acoustical ceiling systems, fire alarm systems and sprinkler systems. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Procedures will be utilized for this procurement and proposals will be solicited on a firm-fixed price lump sum basis. North American Industry Classification System assigned to this acquisition is 236210. This requirement is restricted to Mainland Portugal and its territories in accordance with the Bilateral Agreement between Portugal and the United States dated 1995. This procurement is unrestricted. All responsible sources meeting the criteria set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP) may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Government. The RFP package will be available for downloading and viewing at Electronic Posting System (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov on or about 07 Nov 03. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held at Lajes Field on or about 20 Nov 03. The RFP package will be available on the Internet only. There will be no hard copies of this solicitation issued. The solicitation, plans, specification, or drawings will not be provided in printed paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. All proposals and other normal documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the proposal submittal, shall be in paper medium.
