- S -- Custodial Services General Information Document Type: Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number: FA4814-04-R-0003 Posted Date: 3 November 2003 Original Response Date: 19 January 2004 Current Response Date: 19 January 2004 Archive Date: 19 February 2004 Classification Code: S -- Utilities and housekeeping services Set Aside: 8a Competitive Contracting Office Address Department of the Air Force, Air Mobility Command, 6th Contracting Squadron, 2606 Brown Pelican Ave., MacDill AFB, FL, 33621-5000 Description The contractor shall provide all items necessary to perform Custodial Services for facilities totaling approximately 600,000 square feet located on MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. The performance period will be 1 Apr 04 through 30 Sep 04 with four (4) 1-year option periods. This procurement will be an 8(a) competitive set-aside, restricted to firms located within the geographical area serviced by the Small Business Administration's Region 4. The following states comprise Region 4: Florida, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. All firms submitting a proposal must include a letter of 8(a) certification. North American Industry Classification System code is 561720. Size standard is $14.0 million. Proposals will be evaluated based on past performance and price. The solicitation will be posted on the Electronic Posting System on or about 1 Jul 02, which can be accessed at http://www.fedbizops.gov. The solicitation package and any amendments will only be available electronically. No paper copies of the solicitation package will be mailed. Once the solicitation is posted, it is imperative that interested parties review the web site frequently for any updates/amendments. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be conducted to ensure interested contractors have a chance to familiarize themselves with the requirement. The date for this visit along with the closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at the CCR Internet site, www.ccr.gov.
