- NA Point of Contact is Suzanne Jetton, Contract Specialist, (817) 886-1066 Stilling Basin Repair, Benbrook Lake, TX. The Benbrook Stilling Basin at the Outlet Works is to receive a concrete overlay. The contractor will chip out the existing concrete to expose the reinforcing steel. New reinforcing steel will be provided and ti ed to the existing slab by drilling and epoxying vertical dowells. A 7 inch overlay of 6,000 psi concrete will be placed over the entire basin floor around the existing baffel blocks. The existing relief drains in the slab will be cleaned. Estimated Co nstruction Range: $100,000 to $250,000. Solicitation will issue on or about 17 November 2003. Bids will be due on or about 17 December 2003 at 2:00 p.m., central time. Duration of the construction project will be approximately 120 calendar days. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. Small Business Size Standard is $28,500,000.00. This is an UNRESTRICTED solicitation. All qualified business concerns may submit offers. Offers from large business firms must comply with FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a subcontracting plan. The Fort Worth District subcontracting goals are for specified percentages of the contractor??????s total planned subcontract amou nt to be placed with the following: Small Business, 57.2%; Small Disadvantages Business, 8.9%; Women-Owned Small Business, 8.1%; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, 3.0%; and HUBZone Small Business, 3.0%. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge on the issue date. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through 3.5 in ch diskette, CD-ROM and/or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
