Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format listed in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. FA4621-04-Q0006 is being issued as a Request for Quotation, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This acquisition is being competed on a unrestricted basis. This is a Brand Name requirement. McConnell AFB, KS plans to acquire the following items: Line Item 0001: A-1 Work Stations, Quantity 2 each, (1 model HT-96 hardwood top 96?L x 30?W, 1 model STBC066 stringer support, 1 model BL1751 33? high bench leg, 1 model 0175 33? high std housing cabinet with 2 model 30 drawers, 1 model 50 drawer, 1 model 65 drawer, 1sl-10 housing lock). Line Item 0002: D-1 Work Station, Quantity 1 each, (1 model HT9640 hardwood top 96?L x 40?W, 3 model 0175, 33? high std housing cabinet with 2 model 30 drawers, 1 model 50 drawer, 1 model 65 drawer, 1 sl-10 housing lock). Line Item 0003: Std Work Station, Quantity 1 each, (1 model HT72 hardwood top 72?L x 30? W, 2 model Bl1751 33? high bench legs, 1 model BLS72 foot rest shelf). Line Item 0004: CW/Area, Quantity 1 each, (1 model 0340 housing, 1 model 40 drawer LD 1632, 1 model 60 drawers LD 1632, 1 SL-10 housing lock). Line Item 0005: Bench Stock A, Quantity 2 each, (1 model 0340 housing, 1 model 40 drawer LD 84, 1 model 50 drawer LD 84, 5 model 50 drawers LD 86, 1 sl-10 housing lock). Line Item 0006: Bench Stock B, Quantity 7 each, (1 model SD0340 housing, 1 model 40 drawer LD 84, 1 model 50 drawer LD 84, 5 model 50 drawers LD 86, 1 SL-10 housing lock). Line Item 0007: Bench Stock C, Quantity 5 each, (1 model SD0340 Shelf door cabinet, 3 model CS-40 adj shelves, 1 SDL-340 door lock, 1 HLBL3401 hinge lock bar). Line Item 0008: Ammunition Storage, Quantity 1 each, (1 model SD0340 shelf door cabinet, 3 model CS-40 adj shelves, 1 SDL-340 door lock, 1 HLBL3401 hinge lock bar). The following provisions in their latest editions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions To Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All quotes will be evaluated on price, delivery and technical requirements. Before the offer?s specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), unless a written notice of withdrawal is received. Please submit with your quote a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer is confirming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. The FAR clauses may be viewed at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ Contractors submitting quotes must be enrolled in the Central Contractor Registration Program (http://www.ccr.gov/). The closing date for this solicitation will be 10 November 2003, 4:00 PM Central Standard Time. Quotes may be submitted by fax or e-mail. Late quotes will not be accepted.
