- Description
- The Architect of the Capitol requires summer seasonal bedding plants for floral displays which are intended to be visual focal points on the U.S. Capitol Grounds. The plant material shall be grown in accordance with accepted industry standards and be of the highest horticultural grade and quality. The Architect of the Capitol contemplates an Indefinite Quantity / Indefinite Delivery Contract. No more than 4,000 plants may be included in any single delivery. Approximately 30,000 - 60,000 summer annual bedding plants are to be ordered in any spring and fall Delivery Order. The quantities of plants are strictly estimates. The exact quantity of plants to be ordered will depend upon the availability of funds, the bed designs selected for each season and seasonal floral display rotation and ongoing construction.
