- Description
- The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is in the acquisition planning process for support of the Defense Nuclear Weapons School (DNWS). It is anticipated that this support will be procured through an existing multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract. In order to allow time to complete the acquisition process, a four (4) month interim contract action will be issued on a non-competitive basis with Universal Systems & Technology, Inc. The present contract with Universal Systems & Technology, Inc. expires 30 Nov 03. The support includes professional education and training services using a combination of traditional, alternative and innovative methods and preparation of a contract transition concept and implementation plan. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1.
