- The Library of Congress, Electronic Security Office intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with American Science and Engineering, Inc. to maintain approximately 14 X-ray inspection systems used to examine packages in the lobby and staff entrances, and parcels using the following machines: 11 Model 66Z X-ray machines 3 Model 101Z X-ray machines Includes(2) Major preventative maintenance inspections per year, and replacement parts, on an exchange basis, including X-ray Tubes.
