- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound has a requirement for cable TV services in support of Naval Station Bremerton, WA facilities and Bachelor Housing for FY04. The requirement is for a total of 950 drops located throughout the Naval Station Bremerton area. Additionally Cinemax service is required for the 841 drops located in Bachelor Housing. Please note that Wave Communications (formally Charter Communications) currently holds the only franchise agreement (renewable in September 2009) to provide cable TV service within the Naval Station Bremerton area and owns a large majority of the coax cable that is installed within the required service area. The procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition will be utilized. The RFQ will be issued on or about 30 Oct 2003 and will close on or about 03 Nov 2003. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP or equivalent is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to "victor_b_angkico@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
