Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA9301-04-T-0002. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20031001. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3448. NAICS is 532120. Place of delivery, performance and acceptance is at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. F.O.B Destination. Solicitation is to install and deliver a doublewide trailer for rental. Size:(24-ft x 60-ft). Contractor is to provide a monthly lease of approximately twenty-four months with options to purchase. The work covered by, but not limited to, these specifications consists of furnishing all supervision, labor, equipment and materials necessary to perform all operations; install, set-up and delivery a leased/rental 24ft x 60ft double-wide trailer at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. The contractor shall complete the project in accordance with all specifications, applicable codes, regulations, and drawings. And is subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The contracting officer shall ensure that the contractor has sufficient experience and available resources to accomplish the work specified. Government furnished utilities available, work hours shall be coordinated with the facility manager and base access permit is required. All warranties shall be included. Building modification and compliance; the contractor shall be responsible for compliance with the Uniform Building Code (UBC), and all federal, state and local regulations. The contractor will deliver and install a 24ft x 60ft doublewide trailer for rental/lease. Block/level, return delivery, dismantle, skirting, wind/seismic restraint, install/dismantle ramps, anchor/tie-down; provide steps for entrance/exits of trailer (insure exit doors are located). The 24ft x 60ft trailer shall consist of, but not be limited to two open bay type rooms. No latrines and no private offices. Overhead fluorescent lighting, wood-siding HVAC system, storefront doors, vinyl floors, vinyl-trimmed windows, premium Douglas fir exterior wood. The base civil engineering department will do power and telephone wiring. Damage Repair: The contractor shall repair any damage to government property caused by the act of the contractors. An onsite visit is scheduled for 04 November 2003 at 900am. Recommended but not required. Must coincide with Statement of Work (SOW). Must have valid registration and driver license for base entry. If delivery is done via flight line, one day training is required. The following provisions and clauses apply: 52.252-2 - Clauses Incorporated by Reference. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
