- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number WC4-00004 is issued as a request for quotation. The NAICS code is 611699 with a size standard of $6.0M. The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service, Office of Hydrologic Development, requires on-site training of Basic and Intermediate MATLAB courses to be held the week of November 18, 2003 on the NOAA campus at 1325 East West Highway, Silver Spring, MD. The two classes will include no more than 15 people per class, with both classes being held the same week. The offeror shall include any costs for travel in its quote, if applicable. The provision at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition and there are no addenda to this provision. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items - The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, low price. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, along with the offer. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07 dated 04/30/02. Interested parties are hereby advised that proposed changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) require that contractors be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) in order to receive payments after September 30, 2003.
