Description: FINAL DECISION OF STREAMLINED COST COMPARISON STUDY UNDER OMB CIRCULAR A-76, ARMED FORCES RETIREMENT HOME (AFRH) WASHINGTON DC. This synopsis announces a final decision on a streamlined cost comparison study of the Grounds Maintenance and Snow Removal functions. This study has resulted in a final decision that it is more cost effective to convert the current operation to the private sector. As a result of this final decision, the Armed Forces Retirement Home will initiate the development of a solicitation for issuance. When the solicitation has been developed, a request for proposal shall be posted accordingly.
