- This sources sought market survey does not constitute a request for quotation or authority to enter negotiations to award a contract. Your participation in this market survey is strictly voluntary and is at no cost to the government. The government encourages maximum response from small disabled veteran and veteran owned businesses. Any response to this announcement by a contractor in no way obligates or commits the government to pursue this matter any further. The intent of this announcement is to request a cost estimate for school crossing guard services. Place of performance includes five different locations aboard Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base. The work will be performed on a seasonal basis Aug ? May for a period of one year with possible four option years. Estimated hours per day is 4 ?. Estimated hours per week is 22 ?. Four locations need service performed concu rrently. One location needs to be serviced immediately after other locations. Contractor must ensure coverage at all times. Contractor must ensure its employees have proper criminal history background checks as outline in the Department of Defense Instruction 1402.5 prior to start of performance. Contractor employees must have knowledge of basic safety rules, procedures, and methods to independently perform routine, recurring duties and have knowledge of proper hand signals to safely direct traffic and pedestrians in safe school street crossing.
