Description
NA This procurement is for the solicitation of a Two-Phase Design/Build firm fixed price contract for City of New York Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), East of Hudson Administration Building, Mount Pleasant, NY. Design and construction of an adm inistration building for NY City DEP, New York approximately 21,000 square feet. Administration building is two story above grade with a basement and garage, and has masonry and concrete exteriors with arched standing seam metal roof. Facility includes sit e development, concrete walls with stone, associated on site parking, and a vehicle fueling station. The site is located at the corner of Beeline road and New York State Route 100C, the town of Mt. Pleasant, New York. Requirements for the technical Sourc e Selection factors for Phase I are as follows: (1) Offeror Performance ; (2) Offeror Project Key Personnel; (3) Technical Approach Narrative; (4) Offeror Relevant Experience. Requirements for Source Selection factors for Phase II are as follows: (1) Facility Design and Equipment; (2) Facility Engineering; (3) Site Design and Engineering; and (4) Offeror Management Plans and Schedule; and Price (will not be rated). Offerors will be evaluated on both technical quality and conformance to the so licitation and price. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposal prior to award; to negotiate with any or all proposers; to award the contract to other than the lowest total price and to award to the proposer submitting the proposal d etermined by the Government to be the most advantageous to the Government. PROPOSERS ARE ADVISED ANY AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE PROPOSAL RECEIVED. The receipt date for Phase I proposals is December 8, 2003. The ma gnitude of construction is estimated to be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The project duration is 18 months. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. NAICS CODE 233320 applies to this procurement. Criteria and submission requirements will be av ailable on/about November 7, 2003 via http://www.nao.usace.army.mil/Ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. No hard copies will be available. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
