- NA THE U.S. ARMY SOLDIER SYSTEMS CENTER, NATICK, MA, INTENDS TO CONDUCT NONCOMPETITIVE NEGOTIATIONS TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO TDA RESEARCH INC., WHEAT RIDGE, CO, TO CONTINUE TO DEVELOP BIODEGRADABLE NANOCOMPOSITE FILMS FOR FOOD PACKAGING. TDA RESEARCH HAS DEVEL OPED EXPERTISE IN THE FIELD OF POLYMER AND BIODEGRADABLE POLYMERS USING PLA POLYMERS AND UNIQUE NANOPARTICLES. THEY ARE THE ONLY KNOWN QUALIFED SOURCE TO CONTINUE TO PERFORM THIS EFFORT WHICH INCUDES CARRY OUT EXPERIMENTS ON SCIFINDER SOFTWARE. SEE NOTE 22 WHICH REDUCES THE RESPONSE TIME TO 7 DAYS.
