- Description
- The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ anticipates award of a sole source contract to Foster-Miller for robot manufacture, testing, and support services. The US Army has an urgent requirement for approximately eighteen Talon Robots equipped with Telepresent Rapid Aiming and Pointing (TRAP) capability modified for military applications. The military applications include the mounting and operation of machine guns, rocket launchers, and grenade launchers.
