- SYNOPISIS/SOLICITATION FOR PLASTIC SHEETING FA8601-04-T-0001 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item to be procured for the AIR FORCE MUSEUM at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA8601-04-T-0001 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). No hard copies will be sent. This proposed acquisition is 100% SET- ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS with a BRAND NAME DESCRIPTOR. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. The associated standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 3081 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326113. The small business size standard is 500 Employees. The RFQ has FIVE(5) line items. LINE ITEM 0001: (240) each, Sintra Brand Plastic Sheet 3mm x 48? x 96?(Dark Grey); LINE ITEM 0002: (50) each, Kydex 100 Plastic Sheet Grain Tex (P-1), Calcutta Black (5200), 1/8? x 48? x 96?; LINE ITEM 0003: (100) each Sintra Plastic Black, ?? x 48? x 96?; LINE ITEM 0004: (60) each, Gatorfoam ?? x 48? x 96? (White); LINE ITEM 0005:(200) Gallons of Fastbond 30NF (Green) in one-gallon containers. FOB point is Destination (Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433). Quoted prices should be delivered (FOB Destination) prices. A technical description of the items being offered must be submitted in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the minimum requirements. THE CONTRACTING OFFICER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCATING OR OBTAINING ANY INFORMATION NOT IDENTIFIED IN THE QUOTE. Include manufacturer?s name, model number, and specifications in your quote. Unless the quoter clearly indicates in its offer that the product being offered is an ?equal? product, the quoter shall provide the brand name product referenced in the solicitation. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items. Evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of provision 52.212-2 are as follows: Evaluation of quotes and subsequent award will be based upon best value to the government considering cost and technical acceptability. A technical description of the items being offered must be submitted in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements. Offerors must complete the fill-ins at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, must be completed and submitted with quotation.
