- This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number F2J66732790200 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-24. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Each Software item must be described to include: serial number, part number, version number, operating system, platform, # of licenses, and # of users per license. 2. Tech support must be detailed: Is it telephone support, 7x24, 5x8, on-site, mail-in, next business day, etc? 3. Type of upgrades must be detailed: Will upgrades patches, versions, maintenance, etc? 4. Inclusive period of support must be detailed: For Example: 1 Oct 02 through 30 Sep 03. If different products have different support periods, this must be stated on the quote. 5. How the upgrade support is initiated must be detailed: Will versions be sent automatically or will the users have to call in to initiate a request for upgrades and /or patches? 6. What phone numbers will users call for support and what type of support is expected? A support agreement detailing what will be provided should be included in the quote. 7. Who will the Licensing Point of Contact and what is the preferred method with which to contact this individual? 8. All shipments of media/licenses must be shipped to the individual identified in the purchase order. This requirement is for the annual renewal of the Express Plus Support for Remedy Asset Management as identified above for the period 1 Oct 2003 through 30 Sep 2004. . Please acknowledge all requirements as addressed above. Please indicate FOB destination on quote. No partial quotes will be considered. No substitutes will be allowed unless approved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to make one award or spilt the award which ever is in the best interest of the Government. The Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this Acquisition. Evaluation will be based on best value including cost and ability to meet the requirements.
