- Description
- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206, has a requirement to provide renovations for Project 646-03-108H, "Renovate Ward 1-3East-Highland Drive". Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing building materials, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for this project in accordance with specifications and drawings and conformance with all applicable codes, standards, rules and regulations. Work generally relates to interior construction and includes but is not limited to the following: general construction, plumbing work, HVAC work, asbestos abatement,architectural work, electrical work and certain other items in compliance with the specifications and drawings of the solicitation and in accordance with all applicable rules, standards and regulations necessary to complete the work specified. Project completion time is 240 calendar days. The construction cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The applicable NAICS code is 233320 with the small business size standard of 28.5M. A prebid conference is scheduled for 10:00am on November 25, 2003, in the A&MM Conference Room (373E) Building #4, 3rd Floor East Wing, at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, Pa 16206. While not mandatory, all bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Bid opending is tentatively scheduled for December 9, 2003 at 2:00PM in the A&MM Conference Room, 373E, Third Floor, Building #4 at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Solicitation is unrestricted and open to both large and small businesses. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency if received timely. Solicitation will be issued o/a November 7, 2003 to interested parties through electronic data interchange at the folowing URL's http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/or are in http://www.fedbizopps.gov/for downloading. Drawings are in AutoCad 2000 format. Hard carried request must be in writing submitted to Cassandra E. Craven at the above address.
