Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to Collaborative Testing Services, Sterling, Virginia for proficiency testing subscription services for the following laboratory tests in accordance with accreditation guidelines outlined under the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB): Bloodstain Pattern Analysis; Latent Print; Controlled Substance Analysis; Drugs Research; Blood Alcohol; Questioned Document Examination; Handwriting Examination; Firearms Examination; Toolmark Examination; Forensic Biology; Imprint Impression Evidence; Fiber Examination; Paint Analysis; Glass Analysis; and Flammable Residue. This service is required for FBI personnel to maintain their accreditation under the ASCLD/LAB program. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. See note 22.
