Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Forrest City, Arkansas intends to award a contract for the services of a Non-Personal Contract Pharmacist. The successful contractor shall be a registered pharmacist with a license to provide pharmacy in the State of Arkansas. The Arkansas license shall be from an Accredited Institution of Pharmacy. The contractor will be responsible for filling prescription submitted by the Clinical Director, Staff Physicians and mid-level practitioners. The services provided, being professional in nature, shall be provided in the method that conforms with the Bureau of Prison?s policy. The services will be provided at the Federal Correctional Institution and the Federal Prisons Camp located at 779 Dale Bumpers Road, Forrest City, Arkansas. The resulting contract estimated performance period will be from October 29, 2003 to September 30, 2004. It is estimated that the resulting contract will be a requirement type contract with a firm fixed price. This will be a full and open competitive procurement and all responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration. The North American Industrial Classification code for this service is 621399 and the applicable Small Business Size is 6.0M. The solicitation will be made available on or about October 10, 2003 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is October 24, 2003. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quotation which will be considered.
